One Tuesday, the Government procured water boat intensive care ambulances arrived.

According to the ministry of Health Uganda, these state of the art ambulances will be stationed in islands such as Kalangala, Buvuma etc to ensure timely access to medical care.

In addition to these,  2 type C road ambulances have also arrived in the country whereas Dr Jane Ruth Acheng said on her Facebook page that there is need for more of these Ambulance.

The newly arrived ambulances have inbuilt critical care equipment like ventilators, resuscitators among others, that can provide ICU support until the patients arrives at the hospital.
