Over the month Owiny Morish had been battling with his health at Victoria Hospital Kampala where he had been in a critical condition for a month now.
It was reported on the 17th, September 2020 that Morish Owiny Africa was attacked by goons leaving him almost lifeless with brain swellings while coming from a burial ceremony for one of his friends that was in Jinja.
It was hard to get Owiny admitted to Mulago referral Hospital and the only Options were to rush him to the nearest health facility, Victoria Hospital Bukoto.
Meanwhile at the Hospital where Owiny had been admitted, the bills had been accumulating that had already overwhelmed his family which later led to the Car wash fundraising that is taking place at Lira Mayor’s Gardens for two days.
Harriet Auma the treasurer for the fund raising said they are trying in all corners to help Morish Owiny Africa who had also been of help to the community in Africa and basically at home here where he had his Foundation’s office.
“Atin Africa foundation aimed at helping the vulnerable and with this, we have come here to support our brother by car washing to fund raise for this cause,” said Harriet Auma the treasurer for the Fund raise.
Valentine Ogwang alias DJ Val The Captain who is spearheading the cause said Morish Owiny needs help that’s why they had to come up with the car wash initiative to get financial support.
We did not have a big turn up since the many people from the city had travelled to attend the burial of a one friend in Amolator District.
Valentine continued by thanking all the supportive initiatives from the people like Ayena Fred , Patrick Olet of St. Gracious schools, Victoria Hospital Aroma Lane, De Grill, Vintage , Lira radio Stations, Lira City Council, Security Personnel from the RDC and other known business men from Lira City.
